About Us
Math Magicians has come a long way. It started out with just
one student and the dream to help others understand difficult
concepts to grasp.
Now, with over 400 active clients, we are continually
implementing new, fun techniques to help students understand
and enjoy math and other subjects. We want you to be part of
that experience.
Deborah Sinness, Founder, has over a decade of experience
teaching Algebra and other math-related subjects to middle
and high school students. She is a credentialed teacher with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering
Technology and a Master of Education with an emphasis in
Instructional Technology.
Carol McLurkin, MA/SpEd, Director of Reading Services, is a
credentialed Special Education teacher and a student of
doctoral studies in Educational Leadership specializing in
Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. McLurkin was formerly a
registered nurse in the field of Obstetrics and Pediatrics.
